Free Email Verifier

Check whether an email address is well-formed and whether its domain has a mail server that can receive it.

Check an email address
We check the format, the domain's mail servers and a disposable-domain list.

What this checks

The tool validates the address format, looks the domain up on a list of disposable email services, and queries DNS for the domain's MX records. A domain with MX records can receive mail. A domain with none will bounce everything.

What it cannot tell you

It does not confirm that a specific mailbox exists. That needs an SMTP conversation with the receiving server, which many servers block or answer falsely. Treat "domain accepts mail" as a filter that removes obvious dead ends before you send, not as proof of deliverability.

Why check before you send

Typos, expired domains and throwaway addresses raise your bounce rate, which hurts sender reputation. Catching them first keeps outreach lists clean.
